Our Story – Why We Started Shubhyatra Bali

Hi, I’m Sameer from India, and my partner Diyah is from Indonesia. For both of us, Bali holds a very special place in our hearts.

Shubhyatra Bali began not just as a business idea — but from a personal experience that shaped our journey. Like many Indians living abroad, we eagerly wait for the chance to meet our families. When we finally had the opportunity, we chose Bali — a place we love — to gift our families a beautiful, relaxing holiday and create memories together.

Everything was perfect… until it wasn’t.

We were scammed while trying to rent motorbikes. Thankfully, Diyah is local and could handle the situation — but it made us pause. What if we weren’t together? What if it had been someone visiting Bali for the first time? What if it wasn’t just motorbikes, but accommodation, tours, or worse?

We realized that while Bali is full of magic, it can also be confusing and risky for tourists, especially families or couples who just want to enjoy their time — without stress or scams.

That’s where Shubhyatra Bali was born.
